don't 和 didn't 的关键不是只翻成“不”和“没”，而是先看你在说哪一段时间。说习惯、规律或现在的情况，通常用 don't；说昨天、上周、刚才这类已经结束的一次事情，用 didn't。最稳的检查法是：选完助动词后，后面的实义动词都回到原形，写 don't eat、didn't eat，不写 don't eats 或 didn't ate。
先用时间范围判断

don't 是 do not 的缩写。一般现在时里，主语是 I / you / we / they 时，可以用 don't + 动词原形。
We don't add sugar to coffee.
我们平时不在咖啡里加糖。
They don't work on Sundays.
他们周日不上班。如果句子里有 usually、every day、often、on Sundays 这类频率或习惯线索，优先想 don't。但不要死背时间词，核心还是：这句话是否在说平时情况。
注意主语是 he / she / it 时，要换成 doesn't，后面仍是原形：
She doesn't drink coffee.
她不喝咖啡。didn’t：已经结束的一次过去事情
didn't 是 did not 的缩写，用在一般过去时的否定句。它常和 yesterday、last night、two days ago、when I was ten 这类过去时间一起出现。
I didn't call him last night.
我昨晚没有给他打电话。
We didn't go out yesterday.
我们昨天没有出门。didn't 不表示“永远没有”，它只先把时间拉回过去。I didn't call him last night 不能推出我从来不联系他，只说明昨晚那通电话没有发生。
最容易错的地方：后面永远看动词原形
很多人已经选对了 don't 或 didn't，却又把时态重复写在后面的动词上。把下面三组当成一次快速自检：

不要碰那个按钮。这不是在描述“我平时不碰按钮”的习惯，而是在当下给指令。看到句首 Don't + 动词原形，而且省略了主语时，先按“不要……”理解，不要硬套一般现在时的习惯句。
