先把句子拆成三块：

There is + nothing + to do.

而是在表达“没有什么可说、可看、可隐瞒”。

3 步把中文句子换成英文

第 1 步，先找“有没有”

只要中文想表达“没有东西、没有内容、没有事情”，英语可以先用：

There is nothing...

不要先找“没”对应哪个词，也不要先找“好”对应哪个词。先把“没有任何东西存在”说出来。

第 2 步，再找真正动作

中文的关键不在“好”，而在后面的动作。

这一步最重要。do 只是兜底动作，意思偏“做事情”。如果你想说“没什么好说”，就不要停在 There is nothing to do，要说 There is nothing to say。

第 3 步，把地点、时间或范围放到后面

很多句子还需要补充范围：

There is nothing to eat in the fridge.
冰箱里没什么吃的。

There is nothing to watch tonight.
今晚没什么可看的。

There is nothing to see in this room.
这个房间没什么可看的。

There is nothing to hide from you.
没什么可向你隐瞒的。

先完成 There is nothing to + 动词，再补地点、时间或对象，句子会更稳。

nothing to say、eat、see、watch 怎么区分？

nothing to say 是“没有什么可说”。可以是事情已经讲清楚了，也可以是你不想继续解释。

nothing to eat 是“没有可吃的东西”。它不一定等于“没有好吃的东西”。如果你想强调“有吃的，但都不好吃”，可以说 There is nothing good to eat。

如果你在描述一个地方、房间、展览，先考虑 see。如果你在说视频、电影、节目、直播、比赛，先考虑 watch。

there is nothing to do 不要乱套

There is nothing to do 更自然的意思是“没有事情可做”。

There is nothing to do on the train.
在火车上没什么事可做。

There is nothing to do after class.
下课后没什么事可做。

它不能代替所有“没什么好…”。

还有一个常见错误是双重否定。标准英语里不要说 There isn't nothing to say。要么说：

There is nothing to say.

要么说：

There isn't anything to say.

两句意思接近，但第一句更像一个固定、干净的表达。

判断标准很简单：如果中文后面能接一个动作，比如说、吃、看、做、隐瞒，就优先考虑 nothing to + 动词。如果你只是在说某个名词不存在，就用 no + 名词 或 not any + 名词。
